Shipspotting has become a very enjoyable but unexpected part of my photographic repertoire.  Living near the shores of Georgian Bay in the small port city of Owen Sound has given me the opportunity to see some of these spectacular ships up close.  I am drawn to their history and to the beauty of their often worn and battered presence.
